Closing arguments will be heard today (October 6th) in the homicide trial of 21-year-old Joshua Walcott.
He’s accused of shooting and killing Malichi Moore at Two Rivers home in 2021.
Before the defense rested yesterday, the state had presented 22 witnesses and 40 pieces of evidence to Manitowoc County jurors.
Walcott testified yesterday (October 5th) in his defense saying he doesn’t remember most of the night that Moore was killed because he took Xanax that night.
If found guilty, Walcott could face a possible life sentence.
He’s also been charged with two counts of 2nd-degree sexual assault, felony possession of a firearm, and bail jumping.
