Local and area Cross Country runners are scheduled to compete in their conference meets later today.
The Manitowoc Lincoln Ships participate in the FRCC Run at UW Green Bay while Chilton is hosting the EWC meet also involving Two Rivers, Roncalli, Valders, Kiel, Brillion, New Holstein and Sheboygan Falls.
Runners for Big East schools don’t have their conference meet until Saturday at Mishicot.
Meanwhile, Manitowoc Lincoln looks to wrap up sole possession of the FRCC Girls Volleyball title this evening.
The Ships end the regular season and conference schedule with a 7:00 p.m. varsity match with Green Bay Preble at JFK Fieldhouse.
They hold a 1-game lead over (7-and-1) Bay Port entering play.
That lone loss came at the hands of the Ships.
The Pirates are at Sheboygan South.
