Manitowoc residents will see tents, campers, and cardboard boxes around First Presbyterian Church tomorrow (October 14th) for the Cardboard City event.
The event allows people to camp out overnight in the elements to get some understanding of how homelessness works.
There will also be presentations about overcoming homelessness and how local organizations work to help those struggling including Manitowoc County Habitat for Humanity, Hope House Manitowoc County, and the Haven.
Participants had to pledge at least $20 to participate.
