Notre Dame junior runningback Christian Collins rushed for 242 yards and 4 touchdowns, all in the first half, to lead the visiting Tritons to a 48-to-7 rout of Manitowoc Lincoln at Rubick Field Friday night. The Shipbuilders were hurt by 7 turnovers and fell behind 48-to-7 by halftime with a continuous clock for the second half. Lincoln’s lone score came in the first quarter on a 95-yard pass play from Max Maigatter to Julien Bailey. The Tritons, who head into the WIAA playoffs with an 8-and-1 record, outgained the home team 335 to 236, with 304 of those yards coming on the ground. Manitowoc ends the season with a record of 3-and-6.
