A day to celebrate pumpkins in Mishicot returns next week.
Pumpkinfest will be underway Saturday, October 21st from 9 am to 3 pm.
Several events include the Mishicot Ambulance Food Tent and the Boy Scout Chili sale. Also, the Mishicot Historical Museum will be open.
For children, there will be pony rides and a petting zoo. A parade for the event will start at noon near O.H Schultz Elementary School.
Entries in the pumpkin baking event are due between 9 and 10 a.m.
A pumpkin carving and decorating contest will also occur; the giant pumpkin growers will also show off what they’ve grown between 9 and 11 a.m.
There will be no chainsaw competition this year.
