Bail is set at $500 cash for a 23-year-old Milwaukee man facing drug charges after officers found him passed out in his vehicle at a Manitowoc McDonalds.
Deontay S. Long is charged with Possession with intent to deliver cocaine, THC and a schedule I or II drug plus resisting or obstructing an officer.
Police found Long asleep in his vehicle late Sunday night and after waking up he refused to exit.
A “strong smell” of marijuana emitted from the vehicle and Long’s breath reportedly smelled of intoxicants.
A search of his vehicle revealed a backpack which contained several drugs and drug related paraphernalia along with $675 cash.
He refused a field sobriety test and was taken to The Manitowoc County Jail. The lone condition of bail is that Long maintain “absolute sobriety.”
He remains in The County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for October 23rd at 1:30 p.m.
