A Brown County man is facing charges after a crash that injured two children.
Nathan Stymiest is facing two counts each of OWI with a Child in the Vehicle, and 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety.
The crash occurred Sunday in the Village of Howard, with first responders being sent to the area of Lineville and Bayshore Drives.
The Sheriff’s Deputy who was first on the scene reported a vehicle on its roof that was an estimated 50 feet from the road.
Two child safety seats in the rear were said to not be properly secured, resulting in Stymiest’s 4-year-old child receiving a bump to his head and his 6-year-old bleeding from the nose.
While he denied consuming any alcohol, Stymiest admitted to driving at least 70 miles per hour before the crash.
His bond was set at $10,000 cash, and he is due back in court on November 16th.
