The man taken to a hospital after Kaukauna Police used a taser on him has died.
Police were orginally called to the 100 block of West 13th Street last Saturday for a welfare check.
When they arrived, they found a woman, now identified as Jessica VanSyoc, with substantial traumatic injuries which she ended up dying from.
When the man, now known as Eric VanSyoc, was found by police he began acting erratically which is why police used tasers to subdue him.
He would later die at a hospital after having a medical episode.
Appleton Police are now investigating what happened to Eric since he died in police custody.
No other information is being released until more details are known.
