An afternoon of pumpkin carving and decorating is happening this afternoon (October 18th).
The first-ever Pumpkin Palooza takes place across from the Manitowoc Public Library at Burger Boat Park starting at 3:00 p.m.
The free event allows people to decorate a pumpkin if there are some available.
Visit Manitowoc asks participants to bring their own equipment although there will be some art supplies.
They also encourage people to dress up in a costume.
