Roncalli High School invites the public to attend a special event Thanksgiving weekend to honor coaches and players of its 22 total state-winning championship teams.
Athletic Director Nathan Kaderabek says it’ll be held Saturday November 25th as part of a full day and evening off high school basketball as The Jets host Sheboygan Lutheran.
Kaderabek adds that the State Champs Banner Recognition acknowledgement, to be held in between the girls and boys varsity basketball games, will be a
“unique opportunity for Roncalli High School to recognize the championship efforts of our athletic teams.”
He adds it will give “everyone the chance to recognize and acknowledge the impact the individuals of each of these teams had as student-athletes during their time
at Roncalli in their respective sports and continue to make as servant leaders within their communities since graduation.”
Teams will be announced in chronological order starting with the Boys 1969 Cross Country team to the most recent, the 2022 Boys Basketball team.
No RSVP is required to attend a reception that will be held in the high school cafeteria following the boys’ varsity basketball game (approximately 8 p.m.) and is included with game admission.
Photo opportunities will also be made available for those in attendance.
