Bail is set at $5,000 cash for a 35-year-old Manitowoc man charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting a child.
Marco Tulio Rodriguez-Lopez appeared for a bail hearing Friday afternoon in Manitowoc County Circuit Court and has been officially charged with First and Second-Degree Sexual assault of a child and Repeated First-Degree Sexual Assault of the same child.
Police arrested Rodriguez-Lopez after a caller was concerned about him trespassing.
The victim described to police of being touched in their private area multiple times by Rodriguez-Lopez which caused in her words “a lot of physical and emotional pain.”
The victim says they never contacted police because they were scared, and that Rodriguez-Lopez would make frequent threats about killing himself and the victim’s family.
He also allegedly said police would take away something important to them.
Conditions of bail include that Rodriguez-Lopez have “no contact” with the victim, the victim’s family or their premises and have “no contact” with anyone under the age of 18.
He remains in The County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for October 23rd at 1:30 p.m.
