Visit Manitowoc announces that the Second Annual Wisconsin Sand Sculpting Festival will be held July 19th through 21st 2024 at Red Arrow Park and Beach in Manitowoc.
Over 8,000 attendees visited the inaugural festival last summer with plans in the works to have attendees set to enjoy the artistic work of over ten impressive semi-professional sand sculptors from across the country.
Other events in the works include amateur sand sculpting competitions, sand sculpting lessons, food and drink, vendors, and live music.
Visit Manitowoc’s Director of Tourism Courtney Hansen says, “The Visit Manitowoc team is already hard at work expanding our marketing efforts to attract even more visitors to experience this one-of-a-kind Wisconsin event and make an even larger economic impact on our community.”
The Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary and The Sand Lovers are partnering once again with Visit Manitowoc to bring the second iteration of this unique and fun event back to the Lakeshore.
Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary President Kathy Bernhart says, “We can’t wait to welcome everyone near and far back to Red Arrow Park and Beach next summer for round two!”
Sponsorship and vendor opportunities will be released in November with all proceeds going back to Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary to benefit Manitowoc community members, especially children, through their various initiatives.
