Kids trick-or-treat before Halloween this year at the Manitowoc Public Library.
The library is holding a trunk-or-treat event tomorrow (October 24th) from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
The library says families will love the safe, fun, and free trick-or-treating event which showcases local businesses and shares in the festivities a week before Halloween.
Youth Director Betty Schwede says there will also be a costume contest beginning at 5:00.
“There are opportunities for prizes,” she explains. “There will also be a raffle drawing as well. We’ll also going to post photos on Facebook and the adult, teen, and children’s photos that have the most reactions will get a prize for that.”
The trunk-or-treat will be held in the Briess Parking lot across from the library and the costume contest is in the library.
If the weather isn’t cooperative, Schewede says trick-or-treating will not happen, but the costume contest will.
