Another person has been charged with stealing from the Manitowoc Walmart.
Manitowoc Police say they were called and talked to a person who worked at the Loss Prevention Office.
They told police that a woman tried to steal a little more than $730 worth of merchandise, although she paid for some of it.
When police asked the 53-year-old woman why they were called, she said “Because I stole stuff.”
When asked for a reason, she didn’t give one.
The worker at Walmart claimed that the woman, who drove an electric cart, hid the merchandise in a reusable bag.
She was taken to a police vehicle and then booked at the Manitowoc County Jail on a felony retail theft charge.
