Bail is set at $100 signature bond for a 44-year-old man who has a history of drug arrests and was detained again in Manitowoc Thursday afternoon.
Nicholas Bevan, who did not provide an address to the court, has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
He has been previously convicted for manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine with intent to deliver and intending to dispose of methamphetamine waste.
A police officer was on patrol when he saw an individual that he had known from previous contacts appearing to be walking impaired on Marshall Street.
Officers searched Bevan as there was an active warrant out for his arrest which revealed methamphetamine and a THC vaping device on his person.
He was arrested without further incident and taken to The Manitowoc County Jail. The lone condition of bail is that Bevan maintain “absolute sobriety.”
He remains in custody on a probation hold with an initial appearance scheduled for November 13th.
