Wisconsin Public Service customers could be paying less for heat this year.
That’s according to the power company which says the typical residential customer will pay about $20 less per month this winter compared to last year if it is a typical Wisconsin winter.
WPS also says that they don’t profit from the natural gas it purchases because customers pay the same price for natural gas that the company pays.
Customers who might still have problems keeping up with bills are asked to call WPS as soon as possible to talk about bill-paying options.
You can contact WPS by calling 800-450-7260.
The heat in many homes will be turned on as the temperatures start to drop this weekend and into next week.
It’s supposed to be in the 20’s for lows Monday night.
