A man has been charged with possession of meth after he was found hitting his head against a building and screaming.
Manitowoc Police say they found the 58-year-old man outside of Capone’s Bar on 10th Street last Friday acting very “animated” having side conversations with himself and couldn’t stop moving.
Police learned that the man was staying in a downtown hotel but when they arrived, they learned that the man was kicked out because he had apparently broken a flat-screen TV and left his items all over the room, including drug paraphernalia.
The man was brought into the hotel and was told to grab his things and leave. When police investigated the room, they returned a coat to the man but allegedly found a small clear plastic bag that looked like meth.
The suspect denied it was his but did apparently admit that he used meth the day before.
He was arrested for possession of meth, drug paraphernalia, and two counts of bail jumping and taken to the Manitowoc County Jail.
