Bail is set at $500 cash for a 23-year-old Manitowoc Woman after police responded to an incident involving a child at a Manitowoc residence Monday night.
Kristyaunity R. Mead has been charged with physical abuse of a child.
Officers were told by a man that Mead threw her phone at the victim and allegedly repeatedly punched them with closed fists.
He added that he got between the two and put Mead on the floor to calm her down.
When questioned by police the victim said they were trying to stop Mead from arguing with her partner before she threw her phone at and punched her.
Officers found “no injuries” on the victim and Mead was placed under arrest. The lone condition of bail is that Mead is to have “no contact” with the victim.
She remains in The County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for November 6th at 1:30.
