Tonight is Halloween Night, and trick-or-treating hours depend on where you live in Manitowoc County.
In the city of Manitowoc, people can go out between 5 and 8 p.m. In Two Rivers trick-or-treating takes place between 4:30 to 7 pm. In Mishicot, it’s from 4 to 6 pm.
Another event scheduled in Manitowoc is the Manitowoc Youth Baseball/Softball Association’s Trick-or-Treat.
It’s from 4 pm to 5:30 pm at the Manitowoc Youth Sports Complex.
Children can make four trick-or-treat stops on one of our fields, candy will be given out on each of the bases of the field, and enjoy free freshly popped popcorn, hot chocolate, and water.
Special guests at the event include the Manitowoc PD K9 unit and members of the Manitowoc Fire Department and Sheriff’s Department.
Some villages like Valders, Kiel, Cleveland, and Reedsville already had trick-or-treating on Sunday.
Any child must be accompanied by an adult when collecting candy.
Parents should also check their child’s candy to make sure none of it was pre-opened or to make sure anything that might look like candy is something else.
Make sure you go to homes with their porch lights on and make sure to dress warmly because the weather will feel more like winter than fall tonight.
