A 31-year-old man is free on $1,000 signature bond after police took him into custody for possession of THC.
Dylan J. Kazda, who didn’t provide an address to the court, was initially pulled over for having “no headlights on”.
He was asked to step out of his vehicle as officers said he smelled of marijuana.
A search was conducted based on “probable cause” with Kazda saying that they may find a pipe and a “little bit” of pot.
He said he smoked in the car because his parents said he couldn’t do it inside the house.
Kazda had four prior drug convictions and was taken to police headquarters and booked into the County Jail.
Conditions of bail are that Kazda must provide a written address to the court by end of business Wednesday (November 8th) and maintain “absolute sobriety”.
His initial appearance is scheduled for November 27th.
