Tomorrow is Veteran’s Day, and there are celebrations scheduled all over the lakeshore area.
Starting in Manitowoc, the annual memorial ceremony will start at 10:30 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial across from Evergreen Cemetery, where volunteers will be cleaning the final 51 Civil War gravesites.
Also, American Legion Post 477 out of St. Nazianz will be hosting a social at Shadows Bar in School Hill from 11:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Then, at 5 pm is cocktails & 6 pm dinner, the Veterans Council will hold their annual dinner and awards banquet at City Limits on CR south of Manitowoc.
In Two Rivers, the city celebration is being held in Central Park at 11:00. Also, Veterans who visit the Washington House in Two Rivers can get a free ice cream cone.
