Manitowoc Police were called to two different bars for two incidents last night (November 13th).
One involved a 29-year-old man who was passed out in a bathroom at Saucy’s Bar on Washington Street.
Police say they found foil in the man’s hand along with a lighter which to them meant the man ingested drugs.
After EMS performed lifesaving measures, the man woke up and was taken to Holy Family Memorial to be treated.
Police say the man later admitted to taking two hits of “down”, which he explained meant heroin.
He was later taken to the Manitowoc County Jail after being treated and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia plus felony and misdemeanor bail jumping.
A 39-year-old man was also arrested for misdemeanor bail jumping after allegedly being verbally aggressive at the Westfield Bar on Western Avenue.
Police say the man admitted to drinking when he was not allowed to because of his bail conditions to maintain complete sobriety.
He was also taken to the county jail.
