A woman was charged with two counts of felony bail jumping after she was allegedly caught with a joint in her car.
Manitowoc Police say an officer tried to pull over a vehicle with expired tags.
The 39-year-old woman later pulled into the Marathon Gas Station on South 19th Street.
When the officer approached the vehicle, he could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Police say the woman told the officer that she had smoked in the car earlier that day but she “was fine and she sweat it all out at the gym.”
When the officer searched the SUV, he allegedly found a joint in the center console.
A second officer arrived and performed a field sobriety test to make sure the woman could drive.
After not being able to pass the woman was arrested.
