The Manitowoc Lincoln Girls Basketball Team used, balance, great team defense and excellent free throw shooting in route to an 83 to 43 season opening victory at Milwaukee King Friday night.
Six players scored in double figures, led by Sara Beichen and Grace Fruzen who had 15 points apiece.
The Ships shoot 25 of 36 from the charity stripe as compared to 5 of 11 for the Lady Generals.
Lincoln returns to action Tuesday night as they continue a season-opening five game road trip at Green Bay East against The Red Devils.
