Bail is set at $1,500 signature bond for a 52-year-old Manitowoc man after being involved in a fight at a local bar over the weekend.
The lone charge filed against Andres Aguilar is Felony Possession of Cocaine.
Numerous officers responded to a call for a physical altercation at The Train Wreck Bar in the early morning hours of November 18th.
Aguilar claimed that he was “minding his own business” when several individuals confronted him.
A witness stated that they saw him get hit in the head with a beer bottle.
When Aguilar was told he was being detained on a probation hold, he allegedly became agitated and uncooperative.
A “baggie” of cocaine was found on Aguilar’s person, and he was eventually subdued and taken into custody without further incident.
Conditions of bail are that Aguilar is not to possess any controlled substance unless prescribed and maintain “absolute sobriety”.
An initial appearance is scheduled for December 11th at 1:30.
