A dog training business pitch is the winner of the 2023 Progress Lakeshore Level Up Pitch Contest.
Quentin Wood won the $1,000 prize for his business concept called Bodhi Bow Wow; a pitch centered around his vision for building a stronger dog community through personalized dog training.
According to Progress Lakeshore, he has already contributed to training 60 dogs and played a role in training 17 service dogs.
With a $500 prize and second place was the duo Mikala and Joey DeBone who pitched Little Sips Play Café, which offers a safe and engaging play space for children ages 0-6.
In third place was Katrina and Barry Buechner by pitching Mosaic a Christian Community Center.
They won $250.
The top two choices, Bodhi Bow Wow and Little Sips will go on to compete against winners from pitch contests held throughout 18 other counties.
They will compete in the regional New Launch Alliance Pitch Contest on November 30th at Titletown Tech in Green Bay, and the winner of that event will speak to a crowd of 500 at the New North Summit at Lambeau Field this summer.
