A 51-year-old Manitowoc man is free on $50 cash bail after his arrest for a third time for driving without a valid driver’s license.
Wong Moua is charged with Operating After Revocation, Third Offense, Failure to install an Ignition Interlock Device and Six counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
An officer spotted Moua, who was known to have a suspended license, driving east on Calumet Avenue Monday night.
A traffic stop was conducted in the Hobby Lobby parking lot, where Moua accused police of “picking on him”. I
t was confirmed that Moua’s license was revoked, he had not installed an ignition interlock device on his vehicle and had several warrants out for his arrest.
He was taken into custody and appeared for a bail hearing Tuesday afternoon.
No conditions of bail were imposed by the court and Moua’s initial appearance is scheduled for December 4th at 8:30 a.m.
