Waukesha County faces mounting inquiries surrounding letters composed by the eye drop killer, Jessy Kurczewski, while in jail.
A judge in Waukesha postponed Kurczewski’s sentencing due to potential conflicts of interest with her legal representation.
Investigators revealed that Kurczewski corresponded with someone in jail, urging them to fabricate a confession regarding the eye drop-induced death of a friend.
Notably, one letter implies that the idea of a false confession originated from Kurczewski’s lawyers.
Both of Kurczewski’s legal representatives requested removal from the case, a request the judge granted.
Prosecutors, while considering the letters a potential diversion, are investigating them.
