Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services has notified parents about a recall of four different brands of kid-friendly applesauce pouches due to the possibility of containing excessive lead levels.
The affected brands are WanaBana Apple Cinnamon Fruit Puree pouches, Schnucks cinnamon-flavored applesauce pouches, Schnucks applesauce variety pack, and Weis cinnamon applesauce pouches.
The DHS advises parents to discard applesauce packets that fall within the recall range.
