The city of Manitowoc sells wood.
Director of Public Infrastructure Dan Koski says the wood comes from the city’s Forestry Division, which sells the wood from public trees that have been removed or trimmed.
It costs $65 plus tax for a one-ton truckload of wood and $115 plus tax for a two-ton truckload with a mix of hardwood and softwood.
Prices include delivery within city limits.
The wood is not split and may be the length of the truck it’s carried in.
If there are no City of Manitowoc residents on the list and are able to accept the wood, deliveries will be made outside of the city limits within a fifteen-mile radius with an additional $20 fee.
You must add yourself to a list if you’d like to receive it by going to the City of Manitowoc’s website.
