The Manitowoc United JV hockey team is back in action tonight as they travel to Shawano.
The squad, comprised of players from high schools around Manitowoc County, has yet to pick up a win in five games, and the reason is very clear when looking at the scoresheets.
They have only scored six goals in those five games, one of which was a shutout.
The coaches worked with the players on their offensive zone schemes at practice this week as they look to give Goalie Dan Karlin a little help at the other end of the ice.
So far this season, Miles De Kok, Benson Dickrell, Sam Hinz, Reed Neuser, Aiden Thompson, and Aragon Jack have found the back of the net, while Karlin has saved 114 of the 132 shots he has faced.
Tonight’s contest at the Crawford Center in Shawano will begin at 7:00 p.m.
