The Patriot Riders of America, WI Chapter 2 honored some of their junior volunteers over the weekend.
During their monthly meeting, the children of some of the riders were given medals for their work in helping clean gravesites during the Civil War Gravesite Restoration project.
The young helpers were on hand for both the September and November iterations as workers completed the goal of cleaning all 250+ gravesites of Civil War veterans in Manitowoc’s Evergreen Cemetery.
Project organizer Dan Reinke was also on hand to thank the children for their hard work. Jenny Matte (MOT), the Treasurer for the Patriot Riders, gave a “Huge Thank You to Eric at Manitowoc Trophy for donating the medals for this special presentation to recognize our next generation of American Patriots.”
