The Westosha Central High School District is actively investigating claims of racism made by a Beloit coach.
Dilonna Johnson, the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Beloit, took to Facebook to assert that her team had an “uncomfortable experience” at Westosha Central High School, leading them to feel unsafe and subsequently refrain from participating in the varsity game on Tuesday night.
Johnson alleges that certain fans directed racist noises and gestures toward her team.
Beloit School District Superintendent Willie Garrison II states that he is collaborating with Westosha school officials to examine the incident.
