A Janesville man, Jeremy Mondy, has been sentenced to life in prison for his involvement in a 2021 death in Wisconsin Dells.
The Columbia County judge handed down the sentence on multiple charges, including First-Degree Intentional Homicide.
The incident unfolded when police responded to a check on two individuals at a Wisconsin Dells location in February 2021.
Mondy, encountered at the scene, claimed he was unharmed, but a woman was found dead.
Trial evidence revealed Mondy’s attempt to destroy evidence and flee to Chicago after the shooting.
