A Christmas Eve incident in Lake Hallie has led to attempted homicide charges against a 55-year-old woman, Laura Feala.
Police responded to a call around noon and found Feala’s 56-year-old boyfriend in her shower, covered in blood, claiming to have been stabbed in the eye and beaten with a baseball bat.
Authorities arrested Feala, stating that the victim had sustained at least 15 stab wounds.
The injured man is in critical but stable condition after being rushed to the hospital.
