The Green Bay teen called the “largest drug dealer of fentanyl in the schools in Brown County,” is now facing even more charges.
Additional charges of Manufacturing or Delivering Fentanyl as Party to the Crime, Conspiracy to Commit the same, Possession of THC with Intent to Deliver as Party to the Crime, and Possession of Fentanyl with Intent to Deliver were filed against 16-year-old Maylia Sotelo.
She was previously charged with 1st Degree Reckless Homicide by the Delivery of Drugs as Party to the Crime after an 18-year-old De Pere man overdosed on the drug she allegedly gave him.
After seizing her phone, investigators learned that Sotelo had been using Facebook Messenger and Instagram to set up the deals for several months, and in one case even sold the drugs on school grounds.
Sotelo remains in the Brown County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond and is due back in court next week.
