A fourth person has died after third accident on Interstate 43 in Manitowoc County.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office says on Thursday (December 28th) around 1:33 pm, they received a call about a vehicle crash under I-43 near the Manitowoc River in the Township of Manitowoc Rapids.
Early investigation shows that a 2000 Chevrolet S-10 pickup was driving northbound when it entered the median, struck a guardrail between the north and southbound lanes, and proceeded down an embankment before stopping along the southside of the Manitowoc River.
The 56-year-old man from Green Bay was pronounced dead at the scene.
This is still an active investigation, so no more information is being released by the Sheriff’s Office at this time.
