A resident of western Wisconsin spent New Year’s Day hospitalized after allegedly being shot during an attempted home invasion in Blair.
Authorities in Trempealeau County report that a woman called 911, stating her husband shot the intruder after forcibly entering through the door.
The suspect was also involved in another break-in nearby, with law enforcement withholding the identities of those involved.
