De Pere State Senator Andre Jacque is ready for this new year.
He says 2023 has flown by and it’s been a tremendous honor to be a voice for the area.
He says the lakeshore has played a key role in helping get legislation in Madison passed.
He tells Seehafer News that some of the passed legislation includes those that “Expand youth apprenticeship in career and technical education and support public safety.”
He did say, however, that “there remains much more to accomplish in 2024.”
He says he hopes his colleagues are ready to help pass legislation he’s authored, including bills that would “help those with disabilities, victims of domestic violence and child sexual abuse, fight human trafficking and reckless driving, reform adoption, and put more tax dollars back in your pocket.”
If you live in northern Manitowoc County and are represented by Jacque in Madison, you can always contact his office for questions and concerns or if you have an idea for legislation at 608-266-3512.
