The year 2024 has started off strong for the Sheboygan County Food Bank.
Their community, along with Making Spirits Bright, outdid themselves by collecting over 128,000 pounds of donations in the 12th season of their holiday lights show, which serves as their biggest food drive of the year.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for the event, as it has now amassed over 1 million pounds of food since its inception in 2012.
The warehouse is brimming with food supplies ready to be distributed to those in need in the community.
The Sheboygan County Rotary Clubs and Making Spirits Bright made an impactful commitment by offering their relentless efforts, coordination, and commitment to making the event a success.
The year is off to a promising start for the Food Bank due to the generosity of many during the year-end giving campaign.
They are currently compiling a summary of their impact in 2023 into the final Annual Report, which will be shared soon.
