The search for a missing woman from Black River Falls has concluded tragically.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed yesterday (January 9th) that the body of 53-year-old Stacy Shramek was discovered by a utility worker.
Missing since Thanksgiving, Shramek’s body was found in the water near the Black River Falls Dam.
The circumstances of her death are yet to be disclosed, with the sheriff’s office actively investigating.
