*UPDATE*: 01/10/23 8:30am
There was a large number of calls for power outages in Two Rivers Tuesday evening.
That’s according to City Electric Director Brian Dellemann.
He says 1,105 customers on the city’s south side were affected by an outage.
Crews determined that a tree branch had fallen on the power lines resulting in them eventually falling on the ground in the area of 12th and Hawthorne Ave.
Employees work for three hours making repairs.
Dellemann thanked residents for their patience and understanding and crews worked through the storm.
In a Facebook post, City Manager Greg Buckley thanked the city’s electrician crew as well for their hard work.

It happened around 6 pm. The city didn’t say how many homes or businesses were affected. But it didn’t take too long for power to be restored.
City Manager Greg Buckley thanked the city’s electrician crew for their hard work after power was restored.
We are still figuring out what caused the outage and will provide an update when we learn more.
