The two people involved in a fatal crash in Calumet County have been identified.
The Calumet County Sheriff’s Department reports that 40-year-old Chandra Zimmer of Neenah was walking on Highway 114 near Pigeon Road in the Village of Harrison on December 28th.
At around 5:00 p.m., 40-year-old Trevor Gelhaar hit her while driving his truck. Gellhaar was uninjured, while Zimmer died at the scene.
It is not clear if any charges are being filed as the investigation is ongoing.
Investigators have stated that poor visibility caused by rain is believed to have been a factor.
