Scott W. Stodola, age 54, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024 at his residence.
Scott was born on January 29, 1969 in Manitowoc to Joseph G. Stodola and Alberta (Gove) Stodola. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1987. Scott took great pride in working as a landscaper at Green Acres in Mishicot, at The Garden Rebel in Florida, as well as independently for many years. He enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia and antiques, hunting, watching the Packers, and taking annual trips with his son, Liam.
Survivors include Scott’s son, Liam; mother, Alberta “Birdie” Stodola; father, Joseph G. (Peggy) Stodola; significant other, Kelly Smoot, and her three children; two brothers, Kevin (Elena) Stodola and Joseph A. (Alison) Stodola; nephew, Joseph A. Ackerman-Stodola; the mother of his son, Kate (Steven) Jungwirth; his dog that always stayed by his side, Bare Azz; also other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Deacon Rich Bahnaman officiating. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
