A 69-year-old Manitowoc man is charged with his fourth OWI following an accident in Two Rivers last weekend.
Jeffrey L. Leifer appeared in Manitowoc County Circuit Court Tuesday afternoon, where bail was set at $2,500 recognizance.
Police were called late Sunday afternoon to the 4200 block of Memorial Drive for the report of a vehicle on its roof in a snowbank.
Leifer suffered possible injuries and was transported to Aurora Medical Center for treatment, then transported to The Manitowoc County Jail.
An unidentified woman in the vehicle was not hurt. Conditions of Bail are that Leifer does not operate a vehicle and must maintain “absolute sobriety.”
His initial appearance is scheduled for April 8th at 9:30.
