Plans are in motion for a Two Rivers street project this year.
The upcoming $5.2 million project will cover street and underground utilities on Roosevelt Avenue on the city’s south side.
Two Rivers City Manager Greg Buckley tells Seehafer News there was a neighborhood meeting recently, where the engineering department “shared some information on the project, [including] staging on the project, some design issues, trying to deal with traffic problems by making some changes on the street: narrowing it some, eliminating parking on one side.
Buckey hopes this project will allow for “green space and to help slow traffic down.”
