Registration for Woodland Dunes summer camp is opening soon.
During the warm summer months, from June until August, the nature center hosts several camps for groups of children ages 4 through 12.
The Woodland Dunes describe the camps as an opportunity to “help kids foster a deeper connection to the natural world through exploration, hands-on activities, [playing] in the preserve and they are fun”.
The Woodland Dunes Nature Center and Preserve rests on 1,500 acres of hardwood and conifer forests, wetlands, and prairies between Manitowoc and Two Rivers.
Registration will open Thursday, February 15th starting at 7 p.m. and fill up quickly.
