Due to some recent vehicle break-ins, two Sheboygan County Police Departments are reminding residents to be vigilant.
While Plymouth Police haven’t had any thefts yet, the city of Sheboygan Police have, and they want to make sure you don’t become a victim.
Things like money, purses, firearms, and prescription medications are easy targets for thieves, especially if they’ve been left on the passenger seat or in an easy place to look, like the glove box.
Both departments say to remember to remove valuables from your vehicle, ensure your car is locked, and don’t leave your keys in your car.
Another important step is to park your car in a well-lit, high-traffic area.
As always, if you see something, it’s important to say something.
Police didn’t say how many break-ins there’ve been and how many people are affected.
