Karen L. Langnese, age 71 formerly of Sheboygan Falls and currently of rural Manitowoc, passed away and went on to continue her genealogy journey in Heaven on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at the Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.
The former Karen Schuh was born on April 22, 1952 in Manitowoc daughter of the late John and Rita (Meidl) Schuh. She grew up in rural Manitowoc and was a 1970 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Following high school Karen received a Associates Degree in Manufacturing from LTC and also received a Green Belt in Manufacturing and Computer Technology. She worked for over 42 years for the Kohler Company in their Foundry Division. On March 1, 2002 Karen married Daniel J. Langnese in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Karen was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Whitelaw, St. Michael’s Christian Mothers, and the NEWGLSF North East Wisconsin Great Lakes Sport Fishing. She was a former member of St. Mary’s/Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Sheboygan Falls.
Survivors include her husband: Daniel J. Langnese, rural Manitowoc; one son: Michael Harrier, Sheboygan Falls; her five siblings: John (Sue) Schuh, Whitelaw, Don “Art” (Connie) Schuh, St. Nazianz, Donna (Norb) Denk, Reedsville, Linda (Rick) Walczak, Sturgeon Bay, Rita Metzger, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Rita Schuh-Kaderabek and her step-father: Clarence Kaderabek; one brother: Gary Schuh; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Daniel and Caroline Langnese.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at the St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. The Rev. Christian Raj and Deacon Randy Jaeckel will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial of her cremated remains to follow in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
