The winter snow is no match for “America’s greatest snow golf outing” next month.
February 10th at Meadow Links Golf course in Manitowoc, the Manitowoc County Civil War Roundtable is hosting Snow Golf 2024.
With over 120 snow golfers already registered, a Chipping Contest, DJ Big John with the beats, and more, the group is welcoming additional golfers and spectators to the tee.
Participants will use their own three clubs and a sled to carry them while the hosts provide racquet balls to hit.
The swinging starts at 10:00 and runs until 3:00 p.m. on one of two nine-hole courses.
Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 5th, and 10th place.
The proceeds work to benefit the Civil War Gravesite Restoration and Replacement project at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc.
